Judith 12:4-6

⁴ Judith replied, “As surely as you live, my lord, your servant will not use up the supplies I have with me before the Lord carries out by my hand what he has determined.”^(A)

⁵ Then the attendants of Holofernes brought her into the tent, and she slept until midnight. Toward the morning watch she got up^{(B) 6} and sent this message to Holofernes: “Let my lord now give orders to allow your servant to go out and pray.”^(C)
